WHAT IS A PROPOSAL?
A written document that you present to a client, outlining how you can help them achieve their goals/create their media product
Once an outline idea or concept has been created from an original media proud t this needs to be documented so that a client can read about it
Why do you need to know this?
One big task for your coursework requires you to write a proposal, outlining your ideas for an entire magazine. You are not expected to create an entire magazine!
- A proposal is written in sections that cover different areas e.g.
- Aims & Objectives
- Target audiences- Primary and secondary
- Resources/Personnel and budget!
- Genre
- Content- what's included within the magazine
- Article ideas
- Design ideas/colour scheme, font ideas, and ideas for the name of the magazine
